Thought you'd appreciate these shots from my morning round here in L.A., about 20 miles as the crow flies from the year's big brushfire. Most of the front nine felt like I was playing golf inside Miguel Angel Jimenez' moustache.
And you thought air quality was bad on a regular day in L.A.

I heard a comment on the news today that they think they are getting some breaks with the fires and have a shot at getting them under contol. What's the word from out there ?
Yeah, seems to be headed in the right direction. The truth is that the news has made this more dire than it is. Yes, it has threatened some densely populated areas, but for the most part this is miles of brush that was overdue to go up anyway.
