Minnesota is the "Land of 10,000 Lakes", Michigan is "The Great Lake State." (Grew up in Michigan.)
Actually, someone from the North Woods of Wisconsin might point out to you that the number of lakes in their state actually outnumbers those in Minnesota.
Truth is, they both have some very nice areas, they both have pleasant, chirpy accents (you betcha!), and some of the best summer weather in the country.
Sounds like a blast ! Don't forget to stop by the Sirius/XM tent if you're there during the tournament. Brian Katrek will be there. (I'd bet that if an autographed copy of the book accidentally fell in his lap, it would get to me !!) :-D
